In January 2019 my partner and I started a counselling service named WILMON Counselling Services located in Morinville, Alberta.  My name is Wilfred Courtoreille and I am a registered Social Worker with the Alberta College of Social Workers. I am employed as a Mental Health Therapist and have a Masters’ Degree in Social Work with Clinical Specialization. I recently relocated to Morinville Alberta from northern Alberta where I practiced in a variety of settings that included, children services, addiction counselling and mental health.  My interests have included Aboriginal Mental Health, which is about improving the well being of Aboriginal people.  I have worked in both indigenous and non-indigenous communities, and I hope to bring this experience and knowledge to my current counselling role.

My partner Monique St. Denis is also a registered Social Worker with the Alberta College of Social Workers.  She is employed as a Mental Health Therapist and has a Masters’ Degree in Social Work with Clinical Specialization. Monique has lived in the Morinville area for over 10 years and has several years’ experience working with high risk youth at both the clinical and front line capacity. She brings a strong relational component to her practice and has journeyed with many youth struggling with various behavior challenges. Her passion is wounded healers and overcoming the stigma associated with mental illness, which she believes begins with conversation.

Despite being located in Morinville, Wilmon Counselling Services is willing to travel to meet the diverse needs of the clients and communities it partners with.
